Encouraging diverse ways to promote the value of spiritual direction
Promoting spiritual direction among church leaders and equipping them to signpost their communities toward it
Upholding the prophetic and contemplative dimensions of spiritual direction in the Christian tradition and valuing the lived experience of all people
Fostering creative conversations about spiritual direction in the 21st century
Advocate & Encourage
Articulating a shared understanding of good practice
Involving networks, formation courses, relevant organisations
Producing clear guidelines and resources and establishing a process for developing these over time
Inviting ongoing discussion and development
Commending good practice to practitioners
Promote & Protect Good Practice
Developing ways to come together to encourage, listen and discern, by national conferences, regional meetings and online gatherings
Collecting and sharing wisdom and inspiration through newsletters, websites, social media
